Average Travel Times

This map shows the average travel time from home in 2015 and 2050 by travel purpose and income level. These estimates are summarized to Travel Analysis Zones (TAZs) which are spatial units used in travel modeling and analysis.

Use the buttons on the side panel to select the data you want to view. Data selection options include:

• Year: 2015, 2050, or Change to view the difference between 2015 and 2015.
• Purpose: Work/School (often thought of as “mandatory” travel), or Other for all other travel purposes
• Income category: Low Income (below 200% of the poverty line), Not Low Income (above 200% of the poverty line), and All Incomes.
